She then advanced her training at the prestigious Laban Conservatoire in London when she was awarded a full scholarship at the age of 13, where she studied Contemporary dance, as well as having the opportunity to perform with the Royal Ballet School. Miss Ellouise competed nationally for over a decade and won numerous awards, including gold medals at the All England Dance national finals. Following on from this, Miss Ellouise was successful in gaining a place to attend a full time professional training programme at Bird College. She then went onto gaining her professional teaching qualifications, which allowed her to pass on her knowledge, technique and passion for dance and gymnastics to others.
Miss Sam found her passion for dance at an early age, training in Ballet, Tap and Modern from the age of 3, and then adding Latin and Ballroom a couple of years later. She was lucky enough to be able to dance in Blackpool Tower every year and won the British championship title with her team at age 14.
At the age of 18 she went on to train full time at Prestons Dance College, gaining her ISTD teaching qualifications and a foundation degree in Professional Dance Practice.
Graduating in 2011, Sam went on to spend 6 years performing professionally, working in various contracts around the UK and Europe, including dinner shows in Paris and Spain, professional pantomimes, circuses, and even walked the catwalk for Wella whilst living in Paris.
Since returning to the UK she has made the move from North to South and is excited to be a part of the Ellouise School of Dance team.
She can't wait to share her passion with the students and become a part of their dance journey.
Dan started dancing at 7 years old. His exceptional talent was spotted and he was therefore put forward to audition for the highly competitive and prestigious Royal Ballet ‘Junior Associates programme’, where he was awarded a place at 8 years old. He then went onto gained a highly sought after full time place at the Royal Ballet lower school at age 11. Dan then began training at Laine Theatre Arts at 16 and graduated at 19 after gaining a ‘Trinity Diploma in Dance’. He was also awarded his Solo Seal from the RAD. Dan has exceptional credits to his name, with one being ‘Mr Mistoelees’ in CATS the musical.
From a young age I had a love for all things musical and then whilst growing up, I discovered that singing and dancing incorporated music and I immediately fell in love with it all.
Only when considering it as a career, did I realise that most of my competitors had already received many years of training of which I hadn’t. Despite this, I knew my passion and dedication would take me as far as those and after finding the courage, I decided to audition for a performing arts college in Cambridge. I practised hard every day until the audition and was awarded a place, as well as one of the very few scholarships available. During my training and after qualifying, I have secured various performing art roles.
Going forward, my aim is to share with the children that I teach, the love and passion that I have for performing arts, for them to pursue their dreams irrespective of the hurdles that may appear to stand in their way.
I am very excited to be joining the family at Ellouise School of Dance.
